How To Crush The Czech Pirc! | OTB Chess Game Analysis

In today’s video I go over a game from 5 years ago I played in which I managed to beat a strange opening. The game showed some lackluster play by me but I ended up still managing to win thanks to some dubious play by my opponent near the end. I also go over an opening repertoire against the czech pirc that should be as simple as possible and give white a large edge.

  1. Hanham variation (philidor) is better than the czech pirc

  2. As a Czech-Pirc player, I agree that your recommended lines are probably the best way for white to play. In fact I am thinking of switching to the Caro-Kann so I won't have to face your lines.
