  1. Is there anything that dictates a short vs. long castle, or is it player’s preference?

  2. Rule 4 : Pieces can't be between king and rook if you wanna castle

  3. Additional rules he forgot:

No pieces in between the rook and king

Both pieces must be on the same rank

  4. If you take a peace you go to that square and they go of the board moving 2 pieces

  5. 3 rules? I think it's 5 rules. You forgot the 2 rules which is there must no pieces that blocking between your king and rook and the next one is the square which will the king will pass must not be under attack.

  6. I dont know why you cant even castle out of check tho 😭😭😭😭

  7. And your rook can not be under attack you forgot that

  8. Can we castle while giving check to opponent's king?

  9. to be more specific, castling is moving the king 2 spaces in the direction of the rook, and the rook to the space across from the king.
there's also one more very nuance rule: the king and rook must be on the same rank. this is to counter the fact that pieces promoted from pawns are considered new pieces and have not moved, therefore you could castle with a promoted rook from the top of the board. this has never been played in any games but was a crucial component in a mate-in-two puzzle that resulted in the addition of the rule

  10. Capturing moves 2 pieces
    If your me
    You blunder a queen
    Attack 2 rooks
    And lose a bishop
    In 1 move
My opponent took my bishop losing my queen this was 30Min 900

  11. Can i castle when there is no pawn infront

  12. Il vaticano is another Way of moving 2 pieces I requires the 2 bishop to swap Places and Capture the 2 pawns It is Next to But Il vaticano can not be diagonal

  13. If you think that's cool, google "en passant" 😏

  14. I notic that in Castling the king move throug the rook

Whicth is count as moveing throug pices

  15. Can we castle while getting checkmate from one side and if we castle than rook while face the opponent queen

  16. How is safer when its so fucking easy to get checkmated in this position.

  17. Whenever you move and capture opponent piece you move it off the board that means two pieces moved.

  18. Who else just castles to get their rook out faster when that spots under attack so you can’t have it push the pawn

  19. Important tip: In-castling, king goes first, not the rook. If you move the rook first, you have to move it, you cannot castle. It's because of touch-move rule.

  20. I made it a part of my strategy since I was 11

  21. But the rook can castle through check 😎

  22. Didn't understand the 3 rule correctly. Please explain again more elaborately

  23. Castling is how a mac computer beats you . Does it when you get it worried. Personally I think Castling is a dirty move ,made in desperation. This rule ruins chess

  24. Vid title entirely hiding text 😒

  25. i have a scenario.

4 pieces left are wRook f4, bKing g3, wRook h1 and wKing e1

white to move. can white castle?

  26. My friend don't even know how to castle in chess

  27. Im a begginer, I dont understand why is the need of this rule

  28. Is this reminder for GM Hakamura before Rapid and Blitz Championship 2023?

  29. I did not know the 3rd rule to this move

  30. Nah bro there is a move called B-O-O-B

  31. My classmates said that this wasnt allowed πŸ’€
