  1. good instructional video. For tournament play, please make sure to first move your King 2 spaces when castling.

  2. The king starts castling, not the rook. If you take the rook first, you can't castle.

  14. At age 79 I’m trying to ‘learn how each piece moves’. Too late for my depleted brain to retain but am trying.

  15. One mistake is when castling you move the king first, and then the rook.

  16. Also you forgot to mention when a pawn reaches the other side of the board, it can be upgraded to a rook, knight, bishop, or queen.
